Hey dude, my brother once gave me advice on this kind of thing. He told me that if you open up to someone and they don't give you anything back, it generally means that they're just not interested, sorry. In saying that though, life is short, just ask him and talk to him about it. Either way, at least you'll know and you can heal from it or something can actually come of it. If he's a decent guy then I'm sure he'll understand and respect you enough to hear you out. If not, then there's your answer
